Position: Design Engineer

Location: Traver, California

Description:

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field or foreign equivalent

JOB DUTIES: Responsibilities include the design and development of electronic fruit/vegetable packing equipment using AutoCAD and CadKey. Will provide specifications for items such as motors, gearboxes, sprockets and bill of materials and will provide detailed drawings for assembly of equipment and calculate product flow.

EXPERIENCE: 1 year experience in the job offered or related position in the development of fruit/vegetable packaging systems. Experience must include experience (1) designing/developing systems used in the fresh fruit and vegetable packing house industry and (2) AutoCAD & CadKey.
