PLUMONE P50 Sizer
The PLUMONE P50 sizer is designed for processing dates, and features a physical weighing system. This system ensures uniformity of the finished package by combining the size and weight of each fruit.
For easy maintenance and to ensure the continuity of the sorting operations, the cleaning of the sizer is ensured by a high pressure washing system.

The installation is equipped with a complete cleaning system of the fruits (washing and drying) with access hatches for easy maintenance.
Washing
To eliminate residues (dust, sand, etc.), all the fruit passes through nozzles.
Drying
After washing, the dates are dried by removing the water as they pass under air knives.

INSIGHT
Moisture content control
The INSIGHT non-destructive control system is used to analyze the internal quality of fruits and in particular to determine moisture content of dates in 3 categories::
1• too humid (high moisture content),
2• ready to pack,
3• dry (low moisture content).
By determining the thresholds for this classification, INSIGHT can then accurately sort each fruit and apply the appropriate treatment (humidification or drying) to get the best out of all the fruit in each batch.
Internal defects detection (under development)
INSIGHT can also detect major internal defects which allows the exclusion of unmarketable dates.
