The X Group is a fully integrated group specialising in citrus with production units in Letsitele and Hoedspruit in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The X Group’s marketing company Xtreme International markets all the fruit produced by Xcelsior Agri and packed in their own double A BRC accredited packing facility equipped with the new Global Scan 6 supplied by Maf Roda.
"We pack Lemons, Grapefruit, Oranges and Tango mandarins all on the same line. The flexibility of the fortysix drop line allows us to pack different standards and also enables us to pack different commodities on the same day giving us so much more opportunities to market our fruit successful.
The Maf Roda GlobalScan 6 has added tremendous value to our organisation from a quality as well as an efficiency point of view, to ensure that the correct quality product is supplied to the correct client within our customer base of 60 clients, across 26 countries in 4 different continents. This is all done out of my favourite, the quality room!
